Chatterbait - 2006/08/26 04:17 Broke down and finally bought a chatterbait. I was at Dick's and they had the original, (rad lures), and Booyah Baits. They only had what looked to me as 1/4 oz. in the Rad Lures, they weren't marked, so I bought the Booyah. 3/8oz, chartreuse ?spelling? and white. Crazy trailer in white also. Tried it locally down the street with no success, just a nibble. Damn snappers. Tried steady retrieve, stop and go, and swimming it. Not much cover to throw at on the banks so haven't tried that yet. Have any of you guys been using them? Are they a versatile bait like a spinner? They seem very effective with lots of vibration and flash.

Re:Chatterbait - 2006/09/04 02:42 Pat- I've used them and have still never caught a fish on it during the day.

It has worked well for me at night or early morning.

I use a medium steady retrieve.

BTW- The Chatterbaits at Dicks sizes are not marked on the front. They are marked on the Bar-Code on the back.
