Monday, 07 June 2010

Twenty Five Club Members came out to fish a club favorite, Candlewood.  This place is unreal!  Twenty limits hit the scales to no ones surprise.   Many members reported catching up to 20 keepers through out the day but only a few put the right fish in the boat to take home the cheddar.  In third was Rich McCrone III with 5 fish for 12.37 lbs.  In second was Randy Baran with 5 fish for 12.43.  Randy also took home lunker prize with a 4.98 LM.  In First place Joe Kraft with 5 fish for 12.66.  I ll have to look into but i think thats the closest top three weights in club history.  Next stop is Our Open buddy at Manasqaun!

Saturday, 17 April 2010

Twenty Club Members headed south to take on the Potomac this weekend... Conditions were less than ideal with a front moving in and winds gusting from 15 to 20 mph.  It was a challenging day one where any angler would be happy just to get a few in the boat.  Congrats go out to all who caught fish.  Third place was Rich McCrone III with 3 fish for 8.37 lbs.  Second went to Bruce Sax with 4 fish for 8.56lbs.  First place goes to Eric Bennett with 4 fish for 11.27lbs.  Eric also took home the lunker prize with a nice fish going 4.17lbs.  Big congrats go out to Eric for his first club and lunker win!
