Schrader Wins Opener on Squan

Five Alive Bassmasters kickers off the 2015 season this past Sunday. Couldn't ask for a nicer day...Twenty Seven Members made it out .If only the fish got the memo...It was a tough bite all across the board and every bite was critical. Luke Schrade was the top dog with 2 fish going 6.89lbs. His 5.12lb Lunker anchored his bag and currently set the mark for Lunker of the Year. Second went to Andy "donkey kong" Konca with a beautiful4.37lb Smallie. Third went to Club rookie Mike Villanueva with two fish for 4.19lbs

This week the club makes the trek to MD for our 2 day Megabux on the Potomac River

Winter League Kicks off on Squan

Five Alive Bassmasters held its first Winter League event of the year on Squan  last weekend. There were some real giants that made it to the scales. Art Vitale and his partner notched the win with 5 fish for 16.48lbs. Their bag included a 5.63lb largemouth. Second went to Tim Dafick and Chris Ring with 5 fish for 15.85lbs anchored by a giant 5.72lb Smallie. Third went to Dave Burket and his son with 5 fish for 13.18lbs

Dafick goes wire to wire in Classic

Five Alive Bassmasters held there club Classic on the Northeast River October 25th and 26th...  A tough bite and a stiff wind made it quite the challenge.  On day one Tim Dafick bagged a 5 fish limit for 11.48 lbs to take the lead. Not far behind was Luke Schrader with 5 fish for 10.25lbs... Rich Mccrone had 4 fish for 9 and change leaving him right there in the mix as well.... Day 2 brought in heavy winds and left most of the field fishing near the ramp... Rich Mccrone came to the scales day 2 with  another solid 4 fish bag to take the lead... That lead didn't last long  as long came to the scales with another five fish limit for 10.18 to take the lead. Timd Dafick was last to weigh, He dumped his bag into the tub revealing a 6.94lb Giant that anchored his 18.63lb bag to take home the win
Mccrone III Wraps up another AOY with win on Squan

Five Alive Bassmasters held it season finally on Manasquan this past Sunday. we had 18 guys in attendance on a chilly and super windy day. Rich Mccrone III capped off another record breaking year by winning  with 5 fish for 13.57lbs. His big fish went 5.48lbs and had Ringer shakin all the way out in Pennsylvania. Second went to DJ with 4 fish for 8.82lbs and Andy Konca notched 3rd with 4 fish for 8.61lbs. Congrats to all.

Our points our Updated Congrats to Everyone who made the classic down on the flats.

Schrader wins Skunksville

Were coming down the home stretch with only one event left. Everyone is scrambling for those last classic spots. Luke Schrader came out on top  at Monksville with 4 fish for 6.88lbs. Second was Joe B as he makes a last minute push towards the classic. Joe bagged 4 fish for 5.24lbs. Third went to Rich Mccrone with 3 fish for 4.46lbs.  Lunker on the day went to Teddy Mccrone with a 3.08lb Chunk..Nice Job Teddy
